<p><span style="color: #ffffff; font-size: small;">Although this wonderful short film has laid dormant for several years, I am re-launching this film and others on the new site for <strong>Mad Hatter Filmz</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff; font-size: small;">Shot in 2002, <strong>Six Tulips</strong> begins in Central Park with an almost comedic scenario of a charismatic young man and his apparently agitated girlfriend. Making a feeble attempt to salvage the relationship, he hands her a bunch of fresh tulips. In disgust, the girlfriend throws them down, leaving the young man to find comfort in the arms of a sexy female onlooker while the flowers are left deserted on the ground. The story takes a poignant turn as we see five different characters&#8211;one by one&#8211;enter the Park. Each tulip, in turn, finds its way to the characters, leaving an imprint on their souls.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff; font-size: small;">Read a review by <a href="http://www.filmthreat.com/reviews/4915/" target="_blank">Mike Watt (FilmThreat.com)</a> of a previous version, which was a little longer.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff; font-size: small;">I hope that this film finds you well, and you find it &#8211; entertaining.</span></p>

Simpson of her time.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: small;">The Lizzie Borden case has mystified and fascinated those interested in crime for over one hundred years. Very few cases in American history have attracted as much attention as the hatchet murders of Andrew J. Borden and his wife, Abby Borden.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: small;">The bloodiness of the acts in an otherwise respectable late nineteenth century domestic setting is startling. Along with the gruesome nature of the crimes is the unexpected character of the accused, not a hatchet-wielding maniac, but a church-going, Sunday-school-teaching, respectable, spinster-daughter, charged with parricide, the murder of parents, a crime worthy of Classical Greek tragedy.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: small;">This is a murder case in which the accused is found not guilty for the violent and bloody murders of two people. There were the unusual circumstances considering that it was an era of swift justice, of vast newspaper coverage, evidence that was almost entirely circumstantial, passionately divided public opinion as to the guilt or innocence of the accused, incompetent prosecution, and acquittal.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: small;">There are also those who believe she really was innocent:</span></span></p>
<p><center><span style="color: #ffffff;"><code> <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="425" height="344" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TjPheZblQL4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TjPheZblQL4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object> </code></span></center></p>
<p><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: small;">However little one might know about Lizzie Borden, she is forever immortalized in the playground verse: </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: small;">Lizzie Borden took an axe </span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"> And gave her mother forty whacks. </span></span><span style="color: #ffffff;"><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"> And when she saw what she had done, </span></span><span style="color: #ffffff;"><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"> She gave her father forty-one.</span></span></em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<h3><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Stay posted on the new script for <em>LIZZIE</em></span></strong></h3>
